25% increase in salary including allowances

Labor leaders have called for a strike in Coal India over the delay in approval of new pay scales of coal workers. It is being said that the new pay scale can be paid to the employees only after the approval of the government on the wage agreement. In the absence of approval, payment with the new pay scale is not possible. Along with the 19 percent MGB hike, the salary of the non-executive class has also been increased at par with the executive class. Citing which the Officers Association has drawn the attention of the Coal India Limited Management and the Ministry of Coal and it has also been described as a violation of the DPE guidelines.
Not only this, it is also proposed to retain the difference in salary payment to the officers working in the subsidiary companies on the basis of the pay scale of the Maharatna company, while with the increase in MGB, dearness allowance and other allowances at the increased rate of the coal employees. It will take time to pass the proposal
Wage settlement of coal workers will be placed in the Coal India Board meeting. It is believed that the resolution will be passed from here onwards. After this, approval will also be given from the Ministry of Coal and other related ministries. Finally it will be sent to the Chief Labor Commissioner. Only after this, Coalindia will be able to pay dearness allowance and basic at the increased rate to its workers. The same Etah leader says that if the benefit of the new pay scale is not given in July, he will go ahead with the strike process.
Agreement will be sent to the central government for approval for the first time
Under the wage agreement every 5 years, the final agreement of 11 pay scales will be sent to the Central Government for approval for the first time. Before this, after the final agreement in 10 agreements, the complete agreement has never gone to the government. At the same time, permission had to be taken from the CLC itself. This time the clearance of DPE will be necessary. The guideline has been issued by the government on November 24, 2017. And the 10th wage settlement was completed on 10 October 2017.
Salary will increase so much
Wage Revision Agreement was signed by Coal India Limited Management and 5 Central Trade Unions to finalize Call Wage Agreement 11. An increase of 25% was expected in all devotees, including washing and nursing recruitment. The same underground allowance was fixed at 11.25% of the revised basic on July 1, 2021 while the revised UG allowance has been fixed to be effective from July 2021.
The same agreement will remain effective till June 30, 2026. Being effective for 5 years, the agreement will cover all categories of employees in SCCL including CIL and its subsidiaries. Along with this, an increase of up to ₹ 40000 will be seen in the salary of the employees. Also they will be paid arrears.
At the same time, the minimum salary of any employee of Coal India will be ₹ 43677. These will be effective from July 2021 to June 2026. Along with this, they will be paid a lump sum amount for the last 23 months.
